Sunday, 14th June 2009, at 6.30 p.m., the PAN| Arts Palace in Naples will host, in collaboration with the Naples municipality and Bayer for culture, the Beethoven's ear performance, conducted and interpreted by Massimiliano Finazzer Flory and Scaligery String Quartet.
The performance, based on the ethics of listening, put up in a philosophical way Ludwig van Beethoven's biography and analyses throughly his extraordinary life's work but also his plagued and fascinating personal history. Trough a mixture of words and music selected among the most wonderful Beethoven's pieces, performed by Scaligery String Quartet( Fulvio Liviabella, violin; Rodolfo Cibin, violin; Giorgio Baiocco, viola; Marco Radaelli, violoncello) appears the fight and the passion for an ideal that incarnates participation and fraternity values and which creates, in the name of liberty, a cultural project for Europe. An overall exemple: the Hymn of Joy.
