WhyNot is a new expositive project, born from the collaboration between seven youngs press photographers coming from Italian and international agencies, that for years analyse news stories. The photographers are Adelaide Di Nunzio, Antonio Zambardino, Claudio Morelli, Roberto Salomone, Giuseppe Carotenuto, Francesco Pischetola, Salvatore Esposito.

WhyNot shows the beginning of its travel trough images taken from our historical memory that aim to tell the report.
The world of publishing mainstream aims to entertain the public instead of inform it. To oppose ourselves to this ideas order, we answer with WhyNot, a container that from time to time is filled with photos repared from the stream of media, and it creates the propitious conditions for an interaction between images and audience. Why not has its own modality of exposition and it is a unique container. Only one print for several photographers, a single stand that envelops the space of exposition by evoking a single "Film".

In its first group exhibition WhyNot exposes seven various picture stories; the widening of the single works emerges from the streaming of the slideshow in the video room of Trip. WhyNot aims to propose itself as an expositive place and container of the social report, with a direct approach on news and reality. The themes discussed are various: the Camorra system, the twisting of the landscape, the female condition, the anticrime professional operators, the social actions and the decline of hope. Naples is taken as a symbol of all Italian cities and analysed as an amplifier of national problems.
The picture stories focus some stories of camorra and analyze them deeply.
Naples, horrible and sublime, heated by the bitterness and the pain of being related asks for an information ethics that goes over enchantment and the long exposure of whom tells it.
