Enhancing the coast

As part of the three-year program, the Resource Service Sea introduced a series of measures aimed at enhancing many urban stretches of coastline characterized by an archaeological, historical and landscaped importance. Many degraded and disused areas were recovered, and beaches were equipped with facilities for citizens.
 
 The service of the project is to improve the connection between the sea and the city, through the recovery od abandoned spaces. The recovery will take place with the localization of facilities and services and with the environmental remediation.
 
Some interventions were:

 

1. Marina di Bagnoli Lido- Retraining for a heliotherapy use of a stretch of beach;
2. Belvedere of Bagnoli - Environmental and functional regeneration of the "Belvedere" between the Rotonsa Diaz and the Dazio;
3. Discesa gaiola and Riva Fiorita - recovery and redevelopment of the sea;
4. Recovery and upgrading of paths of S. di Giacomo, of the Marechiaro Discesa;
5. Marinas and Marechiaro Marina, including the consolidation of the ridge of the"Finestrella";
6. Marina of Via Caracciolo and rotonda Diaz;
7. Redevelopment of the Rotonda Diaz and of its beach;
8. Maintenance of the coast: equipment and services on the beaches of San Giovanni a Teduccio;
9. Marina of Via Caracciolo, Rotonda Diaz - Extraordinary maintenance of the beach and improvement of the accessibility.
