The 4th Municipality includes the districts of S. Lorenzo, Vicaria, Poggioreale and the industrial area.
 
There are two gardens in this area, their importance is tied to the presence of religiuos complexes.
San Giovanni a Carbonara garden is an example of Hortus conclusus, enclosed by high walls. Its area covers 4500 square meters.
