Remote Future 2012: "Sky Factories"

Realized in association with INAF and ASI- Italian Space Agency, will be the cultural and scientific event that Naples will offer as contribution at the 63th° edition of "I.A.C."- International Astronautical Congress.
Remote Future proposes, this year, an interactive travel thru space, discovering the most innovative resultus of space and contemporary aerospace.
Going with Vicky and Ebe, two extraterrestrial tour guides, visitors live this adventure, living the great past expeditions, knowing Universe, discovering innovations in space researching and understanding how space researching makes our daily life better and knowing the new challenges to reach space easily, to reconquest the Moon and trying to explore Mars.
Multimedia Show, audiovisions, interactives exhibit and video installation, invite to "at first hand" misteries of Universe.
On exhibition also the last models of space and satellite probes, as capsule of return of IRENE project, planned and realized to Naples.

As every year, a rich calendar of events, meetings with experts, talks for scholls, scientific and creative laboratories, film festival by Universal Pictures, scientific documentary by Geographic Chanel (chanel 403 sky) and shows, will complete the event.
In addiction there will be some special events:
The "Friday(s)" of remote Future consists in three- evening performances of science, culture and fun, on 12th, 19th, 26th october. Every meeting with a personality of culture world, its characterized by performances and entertainment. There will be Paolo De Bernardis (12th october) and Telmo Pievani (19th october).

Commandments for the XXI century are two days - thursday 4th and friday 5th october - meetings, talks, round table discussion, dialogues to answer the questions on the near future of Planet. Science, in particular that one of frontier fields- as aerospace- produces innovation, allows the development of new technologies that reshapes economy and the lifestyle of men on Earth. Everything gives man some opportunities always new. Only diffusion of knowledge and awareness can turn that opportunities in to real development.
"Science and Development", this are topics of meetings "Commandments for XXI century", opening on thursday 4th october at 4.00pm with a "lectio magistralis" by Marc Augè, ethnologist and anthropologist, one of the most famous studious of Social Science and Anthropology, going ahead with the round table and important personalities of culture, science, entrepreneurship and politic world, such as Sari Nusseibeh, Rector of University Al-Quds di Gerusalemme, Giovanni Bignami, Presidente of INAF and Paolo Cotta Ramusino - Secretary General of Pugwash movement.
