The library is dedicated to Renato Caccioppoli (Naples 1904 - 1959), famous mathematician. He was a man of extensive culture, not only in mathematics. He became famous as a brilliant and keen analyst, member of the Academy of the Lincei and the Academy of Sciences in Naples.

Free loan: adults can apply, provided they show a valid document; under-18s need to be authorized by a parent. Users can borrow a maximum of 3 books which they can keep for 15 days. The deadline, however, can be extended by a further 15 days.
