Making art at Scampia

The cooperative Occhi Aperti has been organizing the international Symposium of Scampia contemporary art for five years.
During the symposium, artists from different countries live and work in CasArcobaleno, headquarter of the cooperative, connecting with each other and with people of the neighborhood.
Palazzo Roccella di Carafa, headquarter of the PAN, will show some of the artworks realized by the artists during the symposium of 2013, plus the documents of the laboratories to which both artists and residents of the neighborhood took part. Main themes have been painting, journalism, artistic cuisine, poetry, drawing, painting, music and literature, but special attention has been given to visual languages and different cultures.
