From 4 to 10 November, the third edition of the MilleunaCina Festival will be hosted at PAN. I linguaggi della contemporaneità (Languages of the Contemporaneity) cured by Annamaria Palermo, organized by Istituto Confucio (Università degli Studi di Napoli "L'Orientale"), supported by Assessorato alla Cultura e al Turismo of Comune di Napoli, President of the Republic and Government department responsible for historical, artistic and anthropologic heritage.The third edition of this festival named "L'Uomo e il Cielo" ("The Man and the Sky") and dedicated to traditional and contemporary Chinese culture, proposes a new journey around China through cinema, literature, music, photography, pop culture and gastronomy, discovering a country with a leading role in our contemporary reality.
"Since the beginning, MilleunaCina - declared Annamaria Palermo - aimed to offer original overviews and a new key to approach a very complex and ancient society. With the huge evolution this society has known during the past thirty years, by now it is a protagonist of our daily reality, from the point of view of political and economic matters as well as in terms of values and cultural unconscious, and that's why now more than ever it is object of prejudice, repulsion or fear".
