This morning the Human Rights Cinema Festival has begun, with two of the first scheduled events. In the Municipality of Naples has occurred the launch Conference, and in the Law Department of Federico II Giovanni Carbone and Mario Barone attended the preview of "Il carcere invivibile" (The unlivable prison), concerned in supporting three law proposals in order to restore legality inside prisons. Maurizio Del Bufalo, coordinator of the Festival, has announced the scheduled appointments until 13 December in different locations around the Neapolitan area. Antonio Borrelli and Sabrina Innocenti were prent in the room. Nino Daniele, member of the Council for Culture, thanked the coordinators of the Festival for having beeen successful in realizing the event. |
Maurizio Del Bufalo has thanked the Municipality for its logistic support. On Thursday 5 December at 6.00pm the PAN presents "La forza silenziosa di Liu Xia", cured by Guy Sorman in collaboration with Sabrina Innocenti, Maria Di Pietro and Istituto Francese di Napoli. To the vernissage will take part the Assessor Daniele, the Consul General of France in Napoli, Christian Thimonier, the photographer Pino Bertelli, the teacher of Politics and Institutions of Contemporary China from the Orientale University, Paola Paderni and Valeria Varriano. The vernissage will be accompanied by Luigi Lucci. |
It's a rich appointment for the visitors, since the PAN will display an art installation named "La Canaglia" by the Neapolitan artist Claudio Cuomo. The artwork consists of 12 papier-mache dogs in real size: its aim is to describe the story of human beings who are frequently treated like stray dogs, not always capable of grouping together in order to protect themselves, but still demanding the right to life. At 8.00pm, there will be shown the documentary "Tutti i cinesi conoscono il Kung Fu" by E. De Leo and A. Strazzullo, produced with the support of the Orientale University. |
