On the occasion of the celebrations of Prince Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa (1566-1613), the story of the Prince and his wife Mariad'Avalos will be narrated in a costume drama. On the night between 16th and 17th of October in 1590 Maria was murdered with her lover Fabrizio Carafa in a bedroom of Palazzo San Severo.The two tortured bodies are then left naked on the stairs of the palace. The performances will be held at the Former Ospedale della Pace in Via Tribunali.
