"The CUT SHOW" by Daniele Galdiero

The artistic event "The CUT SHOW", from an original idea by Daniele Galdieroand Rita Esposito, was born from a series of reflections on the role of the work of art in the process of emotional transmission between the creator and the viewer of the work itself.

"The CUT SHOW" involves two distinct phases:

* The first is represented by a series of "flash event" to be held in the European cities: these interactive events involve the participation of the audience, that can find inthe work exposed a fragment that arouses a strong emotion that can determine people's emotion.

* The second is the presentation in Naples of the tape resulting from the operation of subtraction carried out by the audience and from the 33 works of art, making the work of the tape. During the exhibition in Naples, January,1st-15th 2014, the Flash Event The CUT SHOW of Naples will be held at the PAN- Palazzo delle Arti Napoli- on January, 11th 2014.

The work of art consists of a continuous band of 33 photographs taken by the artist Daniele Galdiero. These works were already exposed in exhibitions and international events. Daniele Galdiero's work is printed of a photo paper of 20 meters on lenght and 43 centimeters in height.
The continuous strip, that looks alike a photo or film roll, catches some fragments of the photos that the artist selected. The photos have the same theme in common: the emotion captured through the lens by the artist, who calls himself "emotional catalyst".
