Ciccio Merolla and Riccardo Veno, together again on stage, actors in a must-see concert of percussion and wind instruments, which will be held Friday, February, 14th at 8.00pm at PAN, Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli, on the occasion of the Night of the Lovers in Naples.

The concert could be compared to a musical journey where the individual artistic personalities of the two musicians come together, leading the audience in a dreamlike dimension. The endless combination of acoustic and electronic music that characterize the saxophonist Riccardo Veno with the colors of his instruments as the Hindu and Irish flutes, the shawn and the jew's harp. his music will join the one of Ciccio Merolla, who will range from Mediterranean atmosphere, through the Middle East up to the Tibetan and Moroccan chants. The two Neapolitan musicians, ready for this new collaboration, are looking forward to starting this new adventure. Riccardo Veno stated: "I have been waiting for this moment, living again the emotions of the concerts of the 90's. It is an amazing experience playing with Ciccio again. Playing with him is a real pleasure. We will have the opportunity to combine two natural elements: his percussion, that represent the earth, my wind instruments that represent the air".
On the other hand,  Ciccio said: "Since I started playing, and composing rhythms, I have always imagined a melody. When I met Riccardo Veno, I heard him playing and I realized that it was the melody I had always thought
about, those were the sounds I wanted to combine with my drums. At that point, the artistic idyll was born and today the endless passion for the sound continues."
The scenography of  the concert will be represented by Gloss Graphic Novel's canvas, or in other words the illustrated transposition by Rosa and Carlotta Crepax of Francesca Scognamiglio Petino's glam yellow comics Gloss".
The 14 tables will be on display at the PAN until the 28th of February. The focal point of the exhibition will be Lola Forbest's Hall, where the furniture is designed and made by Morena Inserviente and Gianni Oliviero for Flò Design.
