Applause 2007

Annual Theatrical Tournement reserved to the unpublished Theatrical Works or to the unknow ones anyway, and to the promotion of the professional and collector's Theatrical Companies.

On January 24 th 2007, through a PRESS CONFERENCE promoted by the Municipality of Naples and held in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Palace, is given the official starting signal to the "TORNEO TEATRALE APPLAUSI" aimed to the increase in value of the unpublished Theatrical Works or to the unknow ones yet, promoted by the Civic Association. Through press releases, the Authors are requested to send their Works to the seat of the Italian Post in Rome. From here, at the end of Februry, they are sorted to the Municipal Libraries Circuits of Naples, Rome, Milan, where they are read and valued until 15th June by a big and open Evaluation Council formed by all the citizens who want to take part in it as Readers/Valuers.

All the Works are equipped with a schedule used for the evaluation, characterized by seven columns for seven aspects to value:
1° CONCEPTS; 2° FEELINGS; 3° PLOT; 4° CHARACTERS, 5° DIALOGUES; 6° PAHTOS; 7° THE END.

The sum of these votes represents the score given the examined Work.

The arithmetic mean of all the votes given every Work, consents to make the General Classification know by the first days of July. The first seven Works go to the FINAL. Every Theatrical Company adherent to the Tournament is linked with one of the seven finalist Works. In July and November every linked Work is MISES EN ESPACE (reading recited and interprted by the Actors) in theatres, libraries, plays performed in the squares, schools or anywhere and anytime the Theatrical Companies think it's more opportune or possible. Here, is the public who is present to vote the Works.

By 15th December the sum of all the reached votes consents to make the final Classification with the announcement of the 1°, 2° and 3° position of the "Torneo Applausi 2007" known.
