The association On Art, with the collaboration of the critic Rosario Pinto, prapared show of Clara Menerella's works, in the Hall Carlo V of Maschio Angioino in the inner of the demonstration "May of Monuments", the exhibition, open from 3rd to 18th May, is composed of the exposition of thirty pictures that represent the more recent production of the neapolitan, mediterranean, sensitive, sunny and versatile painter. Looking her works, it seems to enter in a magic scenery where ancient memory and contemporary art join together.
Clara Menerella, as an archaeologist, let classic shapes stand out and she tranforms them with the use of hot colours, with details rich of sensibility. In this way figures become real women, they acquire a soul in which everyone can find himself, in which everyone can meet the own alter-ego, that has left in the life path.
Feelings, sensations, dramas that are traceable in the pictures lose their individual and personal aspect to rise an universal value: they become the symbol of the history of everybody, and of the human suffering. The message sent by the artist is strong and deep: the public should understand completely because the artist doesn't exist without public, as a star without light, a river without water.

Tickets: reduced for groups of students of at least 15 people.
Free admission: for under 18 and over 65; for groups of students attended by teachers; for students of Humanistic Faculties; for members of ICOM.
The accesses allow disabled to enter easily.
