Like every year, during May, the city of Naples opens its doors to the historical-artistic beauties, making them usable, also thanks to the partecipation of many associations that collaborate to improve the area.
The project "Open-Air Museum" has managed to restore to the free fruition lots of beauties that for centuries represent the rich monumental civic heritage, it will be possible to visit it during the four weekends of May.
For this 2008 edition of May of Monuments, next to the churches and many monumental locations, generally open to the public, exceptionally two precious churches will be opened: the Church of Santa Maria di Monteoliveto (Sant'Anna dei Lombardi) and the Church of Sant'Antoniello a Port'Alba, for the presentation of the restoration of the wooden statue of San Michele Arcangelo ( XVII century)
The tours in religion locations can take place compatibly with the liturgic celebrations or with technical needs The tourist are requested to respect religion locations during the celebration.
