No day without a song

"Nessun giorno senza una canzone" (No Day without a song), neapolitan naturally. This is the slogan. The image campaign and the soundtrack supplied by the Archivio Sonoro (sonorous Archive) of the neapolitan song in May of Mounuments 2008. Because the neapolitan song is the cultural goods that needs to be protected and to be opened, to be returned to tourists and citizens, aware of her glorious history and of her resistance to the globalization, to the homologation, sonorous and not.
 
Because May is the month of roses and of serenades, in the middle of the huge songbooks, kept in the biggest virtual juke-box in the world, the sonorous Archive of the neapolitan song. Because from Pisano and Cioffi to Pino Daniele and Enzo Gragnaniello, from Di Giacomo to Bovio, from Eduardo to Titina De Filippo, May is the sungest month from the songs. Here, therefore, images and verses of 31 songs, once a day, from the famous Era de maggio" to "'E quatto 'e maggio", from "Na sera 'e maggio" to "Dicitencello vuie", commited to famous voices or to discover, of yesterday and today. Those images and those verses will welcome the people which will live the May 2008 in Naples, on bus, taxi and in the underground, apart from, naturally, in the four castles, in the heart of May of Monuments. 
 
Those songs will resonate at the underground stop, in the answering maschine of the central radiotaxi, apart from that, in the four castles, where everybody will be allowed to listen to numerous versions of them with other less famous songs, ispired by May. It will be the old melodies to accompany citizens and tourists capable of living the city, giving back the image of cultural capital. We will be allowed to listen to those songs far from Naples too, in the radio programmes linked to the project with the daily dates on the radio networks of IsoRadio and Rai Internatinal, apart from the spaces that the newspaper of Rai will give to the event.
