STUDY OF THE SHAKESPEAREAN LANGUAGE
through the actor's language - through the carried word - through the study of Jan Kott - through the play -
"MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM" BY W.SHAKESPEARE.
From 23rd to 31th of July the Virgiliano park amphitheatre will give hospitality to 14 young theatre students who, guided by the director Riccardo De Luca and by his assistant Iolanda Salvato will hold an intensive stage on "Midsummer night's dream" by W.Shakespeare. Such as in Shakespeare's times also the young participants to the stage will bring to life again characters in an open place, in a park, the most amazing and suggestive of Naples. The stage will end with a mise en espace on 31st at 19.00 o'clock. The staging will transform the amphitheatre in the places of the palace and the sorrounding grove as theatre of the lovers' vicissitudes, Puck's misdeeds and of the quarrels among Oberon and Titania. The itinerant audience will move to this or to that place, following the lover's running after each other in the grove, losing and finding themselves until the back to the palace - amphitheatre in which it will be present at the triple marriage and at the yokels' staging.
