For the season 2008-2009, Arrevuoto has enlarged the number of the participating kids (more than 200) and neighbourhoods, involving others schools and others images.
So, in addition to the historic group of Scampia and Liceo Genovesi, have participated to the laboratories the kids of Ponticelli, Barra - S. Giovanni, Vomero, Montesanto and Foria.
The objective is to stage not only one performance but five, directed by couples of Neapolitan artists. Every staging is the result of the work of two groups of kids coming from two different areas of the city. A breakthrough, consistent with the initial idea of the project, experimented in the first three years: to try the new method of the non-school of the " Teatro delle Albe" company of Ravenna, and to adapt it to the Neapolitan situation.
The Neapolitan artists who assisted Marco Martinelli as "guides" during the previous editions, this year, organized in couples, have directed the performances and have worked on classical and modern texts, producing pure "rewritings" together with the kids of every group. The texts, even if of different authors, have in common a theme that draws a red line between the performances: the true and its rough drafts, through a critical discussion about the mystification, the deceit and the manipulation of human consciences.
