May at the Borgo: "Borgo Orefici: Naples' arts and treasures"

Culrural Association NarteA, in collaboration with Consortium Borgo Orefici, proposes you a theatrical route which aims to recreate the atmosphere of the workshops in Naples, centre of trade and meeting-point of different cultures.

Starting from Piazza Mercato, after the visit at the Churches of Carmine, Sant'Eligio (patron of the jewellers) and San Giovanni a Mare, you will arrive at Piazza Carlo Troya. Then, you will visit P.tta Orefici where it's possible to know the Borgo's history and to admire the gold work.
In its streets, the Borgo keeps love stories, harrowing events, painful memories, and the historian Bartolomeo Capasso, will accompany you in these little streets to tell you them and making you know some personalities linked to the place. The guided tours will end with the visit at the State's archive in which there is the exhibition "Borghi and Streets of Naples'arts. Jewels and gold/silver weaves realized by the art Masters".
