Meeting Italian taste and design

on 25 May at 10.00 am, at the Art school "Filippo Palizzi", piazzetta D. Salazar 6, there will be the prize-giving of the winners of the competition "PALIZZI CHOCOLATE DESIGN"

The competition has been organized by the Art school itself and in collaboration with Gay-Odin, old homemade chocolate factory, and with the sponsorship of ADI, association industrial design which aims to safeguard the high quality Italian design.
The competition awards the best ideas about the creation of a choc and its respective brand, wrapping and box.
During the ceremony, it will be presented the choc which Gay-Odin has decided to produce.
The projects will be exhibited in different spaces of the art school and in the showroom Ferrari Furniture' ones.

The alderman for the development of Naples, Mario Raffa, has said:
"Palizzi Chocolate Design has been organized to show students' creativity, giving them the perception of how they can use the school learning to create something.

The winning student will have the possibility to conduct the design of the product: his/her creative idea will become innovative product. The success key of this event is to meet the requirements of the participants. Students and their families will be able to consider school as the medium of cultural and professional fulfilment and, the workshops will be able to meet a new creativity, through the young students' projects and ideas. The participation of the local council inserts in the project of creating a link between school and working world.
The event has been organized in collaboration with Gay-Odin, which is an important productive reality in Naples, making into account the tradition of the chocolate work in Naples".

The event will be presented by the headmaster of the school art Palizzi, Domenico Antonio Di Gregorio and, the curator of the award, as well as company secretary, Anna Vespa.
Among the guests: alderman Raffa, Gay-Odin's owner, Marisa Del Vecchio Maglietta, ADI's president (Campania's section) Claudio Gambardella and the president of Consorzio Antico Borgo Orefici, Roberto De Laurentiis. The president of the city council, Leonardo Impegno, will award the winner.
